911

So, I am the kind of person who won't notice the date unless told. That kinda means that I usually don't know what day it is.Like today, I didn't realize that today was September 11 until I checked the date on my cell phone. Funny in a sense, huh? Well, when I realized, I made sure that my sister and I had a minute of silence because today was a very important day and 9 years ago many people died.

All this just reminded me of the day when this happened.I don't really remember much, but its enough. When this happened my dad took hours to come back home, because we lived in TJ and the border was soaring with traffic. At least that's what my mom told me. I also remember everyone freaking out and everything in havoc. My mom was worried because her mom lived in New York at the time, and they didn't really have a connection so there was no way to find out if she was okay. (A couple months after we heard from her though). This situation took everyone in surprise, and caused a lot of damage. That is why it is important, because it made history, and changed the way we all live today.

So, I guess that's all I got to say,

Risking it...

So, as I was sitting on the bus this afternoon on the way home from school, I wondered. It might have been something silly, but I thought, has there ever been a big bus accident, well in my area. Though, I really doubt it. That is why I decided to search about it, but most of the accident stories I found didn't happen to city buses, at least in California. Most of them involved tour buses, greyhounds, etc. However, I am pretty sure there have been accidents of that type. I just either didn't search right, or too lazy to keep looking. lol. I have a point though, with this whole story.

I thought this was an interesting topic because it just means that there can be an accident any day. It also made me realize that we are not safe anywhere, not in our house, not in school, not anywhere. The only thing that changes is that we are in slightly more danger in some places than others. I think that we should risk it though, who cares if your in danger, I mean, that is the only way to see the world. Right? It's not that I am encouraging the fact that one should go out there and do anything and/or everything, but that once in a while its okay to be at risk.

'Till next time,
Annie♥

Braces coming off!!!!!

BERLIN - OCTOBER 12: A dentist and her assist...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Last Tuesday I had to get out of school to visit the orthodontist. On my class right before lunch, my mom picked me up and drove me to the dentist, why? Well, because a couple months ago they told me that my braces were finally coming off. You wouldn't believe how excited I got. I mean, I've had to deal with them for almost two years and to find out that they are going to be removed, well it is great news. To me, at least.

Anyway, after I got there they called me up really quickly, that means I didn't wait so much, but I'm pretty sure you figured that out. lol. I walked in the room, where they work their MAGIC, and was seated. Then, the process of removing my braces begun. :-) There was a new doctor, so she introduced herself. After she checked that everything was okay, she left and another lady came, she asked me what I wanted my last color to be. I naturally chose my favorite color(purple). After that, she told me that she was going to remove the molar rings, so she did. To be honest, it was really painful. Well, maybe painful is too exaggerated, it hurt a little, yeah, that's better. Oh, she also made the mold for my retainers. That was okay, I am just happy that my braces are going to be off soon.

Top and bottom retainers
When everything was over, I went to the front desk to get my next appointment, which is in a week and a half! On the 24, I believe, I will go to my appointment to get my braces removed for sure and forever!!!! Though, I am going to have to wear retainers, but that's okay, they can't be worse than braces. I really don't care, as long as I know that my braces will be gone for good:) That also means that I will  be able to drink soda again!!!! ^o^

Dream #30

Today was one of those days when I write down what I dreamt, and when I read it, I realize I had no clue that I had written it down.

According to me, lol, I dreamt that some type of serial killers were chasing my family and I. They wanted to kill us all. We ran away from them for as long as we could, but then they got to my friends, and killed them all. Then it says: "At the end, we kill ourselves."

I thought that this was really creepy, I remember writing it down, but I don't remember the dream.
I hope that if it means anything, it's not bad,

Disaster? Earthquakes??

I was talking to my mom the other day, and out of the blue she asked me something that I hadn't thought about. Something that I should have at least considered. She asked me: "What would you do if there was a big disaster like an earthquake, and we were separated?" I thought about this for a moment, but I couldn't come up with any good answers.I mean, think about it, how would I get back with them. So I thought about it, and the only thing I could think was that I'd look for them or wait for them to find me. This might sound silly because of my age, but I think it is something important to think about.

I do hope that if I find a good plan for this, I won't have to put it on action. Specially with all those things going on about a big earthquake hitting California. It sounds like a very scary possibility, and I don't want to think that it's true, but it is there. :(

I have to admit, all these ideas scare the crap out of me, but what can I do. I will just have to keep wondering, what will I do if anything does happen?

I know for a fact, that this question will bother me long after I have found the answer,

Dream #29

Today's dream was really weird. First of all because it wasn't even scary, and it scared me. Ha ha, yeah funny. ^o^
I dreamt that I was home, it was morning, and I was supposed to go to school. When I woke up I only found my fingernails broken in half. All I would do was look at them and try to figure out what was wrong with them. After a while I started feeling really scared, and believe me, I don't know how broken nails can make anyone scared. Well to show you an idea of what I saw, I went ahead and drew out a picture. As you can see. lol.

Anyway, when I started feeling scared I woke up and wrote it down, even though, at this moment I remember everything without having to look at what I wrote.I also remember that some of our family friends were there. The weird thing is that no one comforted me. Except one, my little friend, who is around my sister's age, he kept telling me everything was going to be okay, and everyone else was saying that I didn't matter, that I wasn't important, etc. You can imagine.

That was it, and I wish I knew what it meant,

MockingJay

Well, I know that right after I read this book I wrote that I hated the ending on twitter. Then, I got thinking, no I didn't, I just didn't like the fact that it was sad and what I wanted to happen didn't happen. That was okay though, because it wasn't my book and it was unexpected, which makes it a great book. I don't want to give away too much of the book. If you even know about it, but it is the last book of the Hunger Games books, and for what I've heard, it is to became a movie next year. I really can't wait. :-)

Well for those who don't know about this series, if that's what you call them. (Sorry, I don't know where I have my head today). Well here is the summary for Hunger Games, the first book, and MockingJay, the last one:

Hunger Games: In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

MockingJay: Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss's family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding.

Well, now I realize, that maybe I should have done this post in two instead of one. Oh well, what is done is done. Right.

Anyway, these books are by far one of my favorites. I believe that they are very well done. So well done, that I got too attached to them, that is why I was so upset when I finished the very last one. I don't know where, but once I heard that if a book makes you mad, upset, happy, and/or any other emotions, it is truly a good book. If you believe every single word that the characters say, then it is a piece of art. I think I leave short the Hunger Games, because they were way better. So, that is all I've got to say. Well, no, not really. There's one more thing. I hated the end!!!!!! But you already know that. I just would have liked something else to happen.
Okay, now I 'm done,
Annie ♥
